The Skilled Trades Recruiter/Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for effectively and consistently filling client orders with qualified, safety-minded Tradesmen Field Employees (FE’s). The PC’s primary goal is to fill orders using current and previous employee contacts, while also constantly building their local network of FE contacts through referrals and grassroot networking efforts. PC’s work with the Workforce Solutions team to supplement unfilled orders with new recruits as required. PC’s own the hiring decision and the need to hire based on order demand. PC’s create and maintain accurate FE records, profiles, and availability to ensure productive fill rates. PC’s support their local offices while also being utilized as a Company resource, supporting projects across the network of Tradesmen offices as needed. PC’s positively impact FE retention by nurturing meaningful employee relationships, driving the safety culture, and ensuring FE availability is clearly understood and communicated to the Account Executives (AE’s). PC’s support the sales process and lead daily operations meetings to ensure the right FE’s are identified, dispatched, and supported on a job-by-job basis. PC’s serve as the face of Tradesmen to our FE’s and are responsible for presenting Tradesmen as an employer of choice and advancing the TI brand in all communications and interactions, both internal and external.


Drive Safety Culture – Support the offices ongoing commitment to safety through adherence to all safety protocol throughout the employee hiring, training, and orientation process.

  • Ensure only the right, safety-minded FE’s are being hired and dispatched

  • Conduct thorough and compliant interviews and follow all interview protocol

  • Support office training and safety program management

  • Maintain high standards for obtaining necessary jobsite information

  • Maintain accurate employee records regarding safety and safety training

Fill Orders – Fill orders with qualified, safety-minded FE’s by managing pipeline of current and former FE’s, maintaining accurate and comprehensive FE records, cultivating local networks to create referrals, and partnering with the WS team when new recruits are needed.

  • Own the hiring decision for new Tradesmen FE’s using the SCORE program

  • Drive FE commitment and retention through effective engagement and employee utilization strategies

  • Manage relationships with AE’s to ensure clear line of sight into project needs and employee resources

  • Create relationships with local employment agencies, trade schools, and professional groups

  • Drive referrals through FE and client relationships and a relentless effort to always identify new opportunities to garner the interest of local Craft Professionals

Coordinate Projects – Create the game-plan to effectively fill incoming orders and provide ongoing oversight of existing projects by staying on-top of project end-dates, client needs, and opportunities to upsell.

  • Engage with the Workforce Development Organization as hiring and project needs require

  • Support client relationships and complete site visits

  • Lead daily operations meetings and support sales by leveraging opportunities to utilize existing employee resources and new hires

  • Ensure timely and relevant updates of project end-dates and availability of currently working FE’s

  • Support projects across TI and ensure collaboration with other local offices and support functions


Previous sales, customer/client relations, HR, and/or communications experience preferred. Experience in iCIMS and Excel a plus, prior construction knowledge is a plus but not required.
