Description

The Recruiter and Project Coordinator is a dynamic and highly autonomous role that combines project and site coordination with a heavy emphasis on talent acquisition within the Construction industry. In addition to leading projects in the local area, this role will also support regional and national recruitment efforts for construction industry jobs. You will pivot between talent acquisition, to mobilizing our current workforce for upcoming projects, while at times serving as the worksite coordinator and primary point of contact for our clients and our skilled craftsmen employees. You will work closely with the Sales Representative to understand project needs, scope, and skill-level to successfully meet the demand with a qualified craft professional workforce.

Overview

Prior construction industry knowledge is essential; industrial construction experience is considered a plus.

  • Talent Acquisition –Attract top skilled labor talent within the construction industry. Own the full cycle recruitment process including posting ads, sourcing resume databases, conducting phone interviews, and making hiring recommendations.

  • Project Coordination –Maintain and monitor project plans and schedules. Communicate cross-functionally with our craftsmen, potential candidates, clients, and our local and regional sales team to provide support and ensure stakeholders are kept up-to-date as projects unfold.

  • Worksite Coordination –Ability to travel to worksites and spend several days at a time serving as the primary point of contact for our craft workers and clients. At times conducting and completing jobsite required paperwork, training and employment checks.

Requirements

Key Performance Objectives and Job Requirements:

3 to 5 years Construction industry or relative experience. Associates degree or higher in HR, Business or Operations Management preferred. Recruiting experience a plus.

  • Increase candidate awareness and interview activity and ultimately increase the hiring of skilled labor professionals in the Construction industry.

  • Manage multiple and often complex projects at various stages of completion.

  • Strong communication skills, written a verbal to support cross-functional communication.

  • Exceptional work-ethic, personal drive, and passion for fast-paced, variable work environment.

  • Knowledge and experience with creating, managing spreadsheets and data in excel as well as using collaborative software programs such as SharePoint and Skype.
